Our babies
Sleepy heads on the front porch.
We found out that Chows love the water and we can't keep them out
of the pond!
They are minding us better now and
know their boundaries.
And we have learned to pick up and put away anything we don't want chewed up.
Teddy loves her warm water baths and expects them every evening. Bear reminds me of Eorye, "Okay, let's do it and get it over with."
Back up and running
After a bout of some kind of infection for several weeks, I am finally well enough to gather up my thoughts (and my laundry) and begin again. November is usually the busiest month of the year, besides the finishing up month called December, and now I am fall behind in my own expectations of what needs accomplished. This year has to be different though. Without my November sewing and deadlines other than personal in the 12th month, I have to realize that Christmas is the attitude of thanksgiving, with or without the homemade stuffings. My token objects (such as all my decorations) is still packed away, buried deep in boxes which were packed 3 years ago in anticipation of our California move, which didn't happen. The move will come about, when it is time for us to move, I guess. Sometimes I feel like taking a big sign and standing at a busy curb, "Loving Home for Sale," or maybe "Buy the house, we miss the grandkids." Of course the vehicles have signs painted on the windows "California or Bust."
So, after a gorging Thanksgiving holiday and an extra day off besides, Bob and I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving reunion of family members. God Bless You All!
