Not one, but two. (Kind of like the potato chip commercial of years ago, "can't eat just one." We just got them from the pound so they are adopted, brother and sister Chow-Chow babies. No more empty next syndrome, you think? Of course the first day I don't know how many times I thought, "And we did this because?" They are staying in the laundry room until their plastic head gear can be removed but it didn't take long before they completely rearranged it, including curtains and anything else they could reach. We have to get child proof locks on the cabinets out there because they can get into them. Yesterday, even though it was Saturday, I had to work so after taking them for a walk I headed out to the car (sure don't leave via the laundry room anymore) and out they came running, full blast. The passed me and heading done the lane toward the road, me trying the best I can after them. By the time I got to the road I couldn't find either one in either direction. Now, we live on a little island so there is water all around us including across the road so I got sick thinking they were there. Out of the corner of my eye I did see what looked like 2 plastic bags in the pond. With closer look, there they were sitting in the water with only there cones with their heads showing. I didn't know they could open screen doors nor did I know that even leaving the glass portion ajar a few inches with the screen closed behind it they could get out. I am learning all about toddlers again. Any advise on puppies out there?
